Company & Role Profile:

A rapidly expanding, forward thinking organisation, operating within the Marine sector are seeking a full time Vessel Co-ordinator. This is a very exciting opportunity to flourish within a growing company.

The main purpose of the role is to co-ordinate all vessel activity and crew members, ensuring the fleet of Vessels operate efficiently, effectively, compliantly, and that the Crew have everything they need.

Full training and support will be given in this role.


Role and Responsibilities:

• Monitor and record the crew rota.
• Arrange accommodation/transport when required.
• Ensure all crew always have the required PPE.
• Manage the crew's training requirements, organise training and arrange accommodation and transport when required.
• Ensure all crew follows the required ISO procedures in place and adds value to these procedures where applicable.
• Ensure all crew and vessels certificates are kept up to date.
• Regular engagement with the crew

Skills, Experience and Attributes required:

• Strong IT skills
• Microsoft Office Suite essential
• High degree of dedication, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Ability to work well on own and as part of the team.
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
• Ability to pick up new IT systems and software quickly.
• An understanding and appreciation of H&S and ISO as this will feature in the role.
• The ability to work in a very fast paced environment and able to prioritise numerous tasks.
• The ability to build strong relationships with the company workforce, suppliers and clients.
• Must be flexible and happy to travel when/if necessary.
