Description
Our client based in London is looking for a Junior Interior designer to join their team.

Our client is an internationally acclaimed architecture and design studio based in London and New York, specialising in Hotels, Bars, restaurants and residential properties.

The Junior Interior Designer position will be with their residential team due to large increase in projects.

Responsibilities of the Junior Interior Designer role is:

  • Assist with the concept design and presentation by helping with image sourcing, photoshop editing and setting up / printing presentation boards and booklets.
  • Assist the design research for projects in general, working with the Mid weight Designer. The task includes activities ranging from finding mood images for a particular design direction to establishing information about the specific site.
  • Assist the Mid weight Designers with site visits and queries.
  • Assist with sourcing in lighting, ironmongery and sanitary ware, by investigating and contacting new and innovative suppliers / manufactures. Record, collate and distribute any supporting technical documentation.
  • Research new materials and finishes, ordering samples and documenting / storing them within the material library.
  • Support the general wellbeing of the team and its productivity.

  • Assist the Mid weight Designers with the concept design and presentation by helping with image sourcing, Photoshop edit and set up/printing presentation boards and booklets
  • Assist the Mid weight Designers with planning, legal and construction AutoCAD drawings, ranging from master plans to small architectural and joinery details, and scheduling
  • Assist the Mid weight Designers with paper and electronic filing and record all project documentation.
  • Assist with compiling meeting minutes


Our client is offering a salary of £26 000 to £30 000 for the position of Junior Interior Designer depending on experience.

If successful you will also receive 24 days holiday per year.

Working hours for the role are Monday to Friday. This role is hybrid and is typically 3 days studio based and 2 days working from home. The company also offer flexible working hours. Please note the Junior Interior Designer role is a permanent role.
