Milk Education are working with a lovely primary school in Killingworth to find a dedicated Learning Support Assistant who can work closely with 2 children, one in Reception and one in Year 6.

Both children have EHCPs in place and they have no behaviourissues but they are in need of support at the appropriate level.


As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be responsible for providing individualized support to the pupils in a mainstream classroom setting.

You will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and other professionals to plan and deliver interventions thatare tailored to the needs of the pupils.

Your role will also involve assessing and monitoring the pupil's progress, and helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

To be considered for this Learning Support Assistant position, you must have experience working with children with SEN. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work as part of a team. A passion for education andmaking a difference in the lives of children is also important.


Essential:


  • Qualifications to GCSE standard or equivalent
  • Experience working or caring for children in the primary age range
  • Work well within a team
  • Be able to communicate effectively and relate well to both children and adults
  • Have high expectations of themselves and the care of pupils
  • Have a flexible attitude and be prepared to work in an adaptable manner
