The successful applicant will help develop, facilitate, deliver and evaluate a range of multi-professional programmes and teaching sessions, to improve the quality of the patient experience, in accordance with a range of national objectives and organisational goals.


The post holder will be a role model within your specific professional field, working with staff in clinical practice to promote the acquisition of new and essential skills and knowledge that will enable them to provide high quality care to our patients in line with Trust and professional values.

The post holder will:


  • Be a role model within your specific professional field, working with staff in clinical practice to promote the acquisition of new and essential skills and knowledge that will enable them to provide high quality care to our patients in line with Trust and professional values.
  • Be working competently in clinical practice, acting as a role model alongside preregistration, post registration and nonregistered staff, providing supervision, teaching and assessment of competency where required.
  • Promote patient safety and reduce clinical risk through the development of educational programmes, assessment of clinical skills and clinical competencies.
  • Ensure learners receive a learning environment that delivers evidence based practice and high quality service delivery.
  • Provide specialist advice to clinical teams to support the development of registered and nonregistered professionals and students within practice.
  • Support all pre and post registration staff, in their personal and professional development and organisational objectives. Providing comprehensive and constructive feedback / criticism where required, and escalating concerns to the appropriate manager.
  • Take responsibility for the planning, delivery, and evaluation of a variety of programmes.
