Proven Management Accountant required to work for a global manufacturer with two sites in the UK, this is a great opportunity for career progression or for a driven individual who enjoys varied role as you will support other functions including HR and operationsand analyse financial information and implement effective strategies to enhance overall business performance.

Responsibilities include maintaining financial policies and management information systems, alongside establishing effective communication channels to inform management on all aspects of company finance.

You will be a key member who will work closely with UK and Ireland Finance Manager, ensuring monthly management accounts are accurate and reflective of business performance.

Responsibilities:

Produce financial statements including P&L accounts, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries
Analyse financial information to assist business profitability and growth
Provide accurate and sound management reporting to assist with key decision making
Payroll for 35 staff and quarterly vat returns
Work closely with the auditor and tax accountant to prepare statutory accounts and coordinate the audit
Contribute to annual budgeting and planning process
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations
Review accounting processes and practices and improve where necessary to ensure efficient financial operations
Responsibility for cash flow and company credit cards
Assisting the UK and Ireland Finance Manager with monthly/yearend Group reporting

Admin and HR -:

Answering the accounts department calls
Dealing with all finance post
Supporting the UK Manager with HR
3 years' experience within a finance function in a Private Sector (Construction, Distribution, Manufacturing, Logistics)
Methodical, accurate, consistent attention to detail
Able to adapt to a fast passed environment
Excellent Excel skills to include pivot tables, lookups and various formulae
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX is desirable
Recognised Accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) will consider QBE
AAT Qualified (desirable but not essential)
Accounts Payable Experience
Payroll Experience is crucial
