Are you ready to take your career to the next level in a dynamic and innovative environment? UKAEA is seeking a Strategic People Business Partner to join their team of experts in shaping the future of nuclear fusion energy.
As a Strategic People Business Partner, you will play a vital role in supporting their mission by partnering with directors, senior leaders, and key stakeholders to drive their people agenda forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement people plans and solutions aligned with departmental priorities.
- Provide expert advice on people management and development, leveraging the resources of the People Department.
- Support change management, organizational design, and development projects.
- Proactively identify and address key people issues, including resourcing and capability, within your designated departments/programs.
- Act as a member of the Senior Management Team, ensuring effective communication and alignment of people strategies.
- Utilize datadriven insights to inform decisionmaking and present solutions to achieve organizational objectives.
- Navigate a unionized environment with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, private sector partners, and academic institutions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degreelevel education or equivalent experience.
- CIPD Qualified to L7 (Diploma) is desirable
- Extensive experience in strategic business partnering within complex environments.
- Proficiency in advising on EDI (Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion), Pay and Reward, Organizational Development and Design (OD&D), Employee Relations (ER), and Learning and Development (L&D).
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with a focus on coaching and developing others.
- Ability to challenge robustly and communicate effectively to diverse audiences.
- Creative problemsolving skills to support organizational goals.
- Comfortable using data sets to establish trends and inform strategic decisions.
