Description

Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive Account Assistant to join our team.

The job is responsible for daily accounts entries including Sales ledger & Purchase ledger, Credit Control, Bank Reconciliation, supporting the teams with accounts preparation and ad hoc administration job tasks.


Duties:


Debtors

  • Open new accounts following company procedures
  • Maintain accurate debtor records in Exchequer
  • Review debtors credit limits and payment terms
  • Process sales invoices
  • Ensure cash is received in a timely manner
  • Proactively follow up on outstanding payments

Creditors

  • Open new accounts following company procedures
  • Process Purchase invoices
  • Maintain accurate creditor records in Exchequer
  • Ensure creditors are paid in a timely manner

Banking and Cash

  • Processing bank transactions and facilitating payment processes
  • Process sales receipts in Exchequer

Qualifications:


  • Minimum 2 Years experience in practice in a similar role
  • Exchequer software experience is desirable not essential.
  • Strong IT skills including Word, Outlook and Excel, to an intermediate level
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Use initiative to identify problems and provide solutions
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask are essential for this role.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Job Types:

Pay:
£19,000.00-£20,500.00 per year

Expected hours: 24 per week
