Reed Accountancy are currently partnering with an established company in the Crawley area who are seeking an experienced
Finance Managerto join their growing organisation.

This role will head up & manage the Group's Finance team consisting of: 6 staff

Responsibility for all practical & legal group financial duties including:

Ensuring compliance with all applicable financial standards & regional governmental regulations. Covering VAT, Corporation Tax, Payroll Taxes, and so forth.
Ensuring accurate & timely management financial information is produced each month.
Ensuring statutory accounts are prepared and audited in a timely manner each year.
Preparation and filing of regular Companies House returns.
Preparation of budgets & Forecasts.
Primary contact / relationship holder with financial partners such as Banks, Invoice Discounters, Auditors, Foreign accountants & advisors, Finance Lease providers, Credit Insurers, FX Providers, etc.
Management of cashflow, debtors & exposure to bad debt, FX hedging etc

Character attributes:

Good communicator and a good manager of people
Ability to not just create accurate & validated financial information, but who can also look at the information created and give advice, warnings, suggestions, and recommendations on a practical & commercial level.
Strong IT skills
Qualified or qualified by experience
Strong commercial Experience
