Akkodis is currently recruiting for a Product Manager to join our client on a 6 month initial contract, working on some exciting digital products and services, that will shape their future over the next few years

Role:
Product Manager

Duration: 6 Months

Rate:
£650 - £689 per day

Status:
Inside IR35

Location:
Taunton, with flexible working - approximately 1-2 times per month on site expected
The role of the Product Manager is a key position within the Customer Division.

Product Managers are accountable for the delivery of new products and services and improvements to existing products and services to improve their value, usefulness and to drive customer uptake.

You will have the passion and drive to understand customer needs and problems and a delivery focus to ensure changes and benefits are realised.

You will have ownership over the products and services that are allocated to you and will be required to manage all aspects of the product ensuring change is delivered to customers and users as seamlessly as possible and can realise its stated benefits.

Selected Skills:

Demonstrated success defining and launching products that are fit for purpose and delivered seamlessly.
Experience of working within a service or product delivery environment
Experience of using project methodology/approaches to get things done.
Strong technical skills, ability to challenge technical approaches
Understanding of user research techniques
Understanding of key marketing principles
Experience of working with users to understand their problems, using insight to identify opportunities.
Good communication skills written and verbal, able to generate enthusiasm and passion about your product/service.
Strong negotiating and influencing skills, able to make the case for change.
Strong problem solving and analytical ability, using a mixture of data and product management instinct.
