Description

The White Hills Park Trust are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed practitioner with experience of working with young people with Social, Emotional, Mental Health difficulties (SEMH).

In September 2021 Bramcote College was commissioned to develop a new SEMH Enhanced Provision for a small cohort of pupils from Bramcote College and local partners to support up to 8 young people, in Key Stage 3 and 4, who would benefit from a different provision, are at risk of permanent exclusion, have a range of SEMH needs and additional SEND and need support to re-engage in learning and achieve their best.

The individual will be able:
- to build relationships with young people who may feel disengaged from learning
- to think creatively and work well within a team to develop personalised and rigorous pathways for young people to achieve their best

Bramcote College is a friendly, inclusive and multicultural place to work and study and prides itself on supporting and enabling personalised pathways for all our young people with additional needs. The school is undergoing significant change as it is due to have a new building in September 2025.

We achieved a well-deserved Good judgement in 2017, and achievement is on a secure upward trend. Our students are well-behaved and motivated. We have excellent support from parents and the community, and a talented and positive staff team.

We are ambitious for every student and provide high-quality pastoral care and support, as well as outstanding enrichment opportunities for our students and the local community.

We are committed to excellent professional development for all. Continued school improvement is supported by membership of the White Hills Park Trust.

Our vision and values are based strongly around our school motto _Work Hard. Be Well. Do Well._ and as Ofsted noted during our most recent inspection, \"Only the best is good enough\".

The White Hills Park Trust comprises five successful schools across Nottinghamshire, three primary and two secondary schools (one of which includes a sixth form). We are shortly to be joined by a special school, and we expect that we will continue to grow.

We are a partnership of schools, united by shared ethos and values, working in deep collaboration to give all of our children the best possible start in life.

Our mission is to provide the very best opportunities and outcomes for young people, and our staff work closely together to deliver high quality teaching and learning, share good practice, pool resources and participate in joint projects for the benefit of pupils.

Our schools retain their independence, each with their own leadership, management and distinct character. However, we have a shared ethos and common values and we believe that we are stronger together.

The role of the Trust is to empower our schools and support them by unlocking the benefits of working together.

**Interviews will be held on Wednesday, 8th March 2023
