This newly-created role within our Product Development team will give you the opportunity to bring your well-honed data analytics skills to bear on the challenge of optimising the delivery via organic search channels of our fast-moving inventory of jobsand employers to an ever-changing set of job seekers.

Leveraging feedback, analytics, user insights and experimentation you will develop and implement projects that maximise engagement to drive customer satisfaction and business growth.


This is a high-impact role working alongside cross-functional teams including product, engineering, analytics, data, sales and customer success (among others) to drive business results focused on user attraction, conversion, adoption and ultimately, revenue.


Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Define and own the SEO product roadmap and lead execution, delivering great user experiences to both our natural search users and search engines
  • Manage and drive the product development process from idea to production for new product and feature launches
  • Own all metrics around your roadmap initiatives
  • Work closely with highperforming engineering teams to build highquality product & services
  • Collaborate with peer product managers & crossfunctional teams to ensure SEO compliance
  • Provide guidance on solutions that benefit both natural search and organic users
  • Evangelize SEO and work towards fixing legacy issues
  • Research SEO trends and share across teams
  • Drive the analysis of SEO performance
  • Be constantly on the lookout for new SEO opportunities and use data to identify them
  • Communicate roadmap, performance and plans to stakeholders and execs

Required Knowledge, Skills and Attributes

Essential

  • A deep understanding of internet search engines and their ranking factors
  • Deep understanding of product, especially how backend features impact experience
  • Solid understanding of the full product development lifecycle
  • Superb analytical skills and ability to derive insights to openended challenges
  • Ability to influence crossfunctional teams without formal authority
  • An entrepreneurial approach to getting stuff done
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Enthusiasm, curiosity and a deep passion for technology and the 'Just now possible'

Required Education and/or Experience

Essential

  • 3+ years of technical SEO product management experience. However, if you only have experience in optimising (mostly) static web content for a consistent audience, this is the wrong challenge for you
  • Extensive background of the use of data to understand users and search engines; to analyse and make decisions
  • Proven track record of substantial improvements to the reach of website(s) with a constantly changing content inventory and a fluctuating set of users
  • Proven record of deliverables for projects addressing complex and looselydefined problems
  • Deep experience of earning trust through regular communication with all members of staff on status, risks and change control

Desirable

  • Degree level education or equivalent work experience
  • Experience of a twosided marketplace (job search, dating, ecommerce platform, auctions, gig economy )
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum teams
  • Demonstrable prioritisation skills
  • Ability to demonstrate and report back on ROI of efforts/recommendations
  • Experience in SEM and other internet marketing, traffic channels
  • Awareness / experience of the way Google For Jobs works
  • Experience of international markets
  • Show a keen awareness of worldwide innovations, trends and competitive landscapes
