Job Purpose
Provide support to technicians by directly helping with repairs and maintenance-related tasks.

Assisting with stores/yard duties and QC inspections of equipment when required.

Role and Responsibilities

Helping workshop technicians with ongoing works.
Mobilisation and demobilisation/offhire of equipment.
Hose management, inspection, tidy up and storage of hydraulic umbilical and deck hoses.
Assisting technicians with spooling winch wire and hose Reeler hoses.
Assembling of spares packages.
Helping workshop departments as needed.
Yard housekeeping and tidy up.
To always maintain a clean and safe working area.
To ensure compliance with defined health and safety policies/procedures and identify any areas for improvement.
To ensure compliance with defined environmental policies and procedures and identify any areas for improvement.
To ensure appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is used in accordance with Company health and safety policies.
Any other reasonably delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Management within the timeframe specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements.

Experience, Skills and Behaviours

Previous experience as a general assistant/skilled labourer would be an advantage
Great team player
Work in a fast paced environment with a flexible attitude to working
Perform practical tasks in the workshop
