Are you hardworking, well organised with a keen attention to detail? If so, our Transport Coordinator role could be well suited to you

Monday to Friday (7am to 4:30pm)

Key Responsibilities

First point of contact for our customers and our drivers, managing calls in a professional and efficient manner assisting and reacting to their needs.
Daytoday scheduling of jobs for our fleet of HGV tipper trucks.
Assist in managing deliveries (in and out of the business), liaising with customers to meet current and anticipated orders.
Transport administration, collecting relevant documentation to ensure vehicle legislation / compliance, producing vehicle reports per Transport Manager instructions.
Set up and maintain accurate and up to date customer information within our internal systems.
Assist in arranging timely safety inspections and MOTs for our vehicle fleet.
Any other operational tasks to ensure the smooth running of the Transport Department.
From time to time, you may be required to undertake other duties within other departments when business needs dictate as directed by management.

Experience and Skills

Previous experience in Transport or Fleet Management is essential.
Previous experience within the recycling or waste management industry would be advantageous.
Sound knowledge of driver's rules and regulations is essential.
Strong IT skills, confident and competent in MS Office (Word, Outlook and Excel)
Previous experience in customer service with excellent verbal communication skills.
Numerical competence, highly accurate, with excellent attention to detail.
Strong organisational skills.
