BRC are working with a Reputable Housing Association who are based in Dorset & Somerset to recruit a Planned Works Surveyor on a permanent basis.

They are looking for someone to join their expanding team to help with the delivery of some big contracts.

Main Responsibilities:

As part of the planned maintenance team, you will be responsible for the delivery of planned works, specifically for the door replacement programme which may include some fire doors
Responsible for the planned maintenance delivery of programmes within designated patch, ensuring works are delivered in the most efficient way possible and to a high standard
Undertake property surveys to identify works needed to be carried out for door replacements, making valuations and writing specification of works
Responsible for contract management and contract meetings
Liaise with customers, providing them with technical advice and keeping them up to date with works being carried out on properties
Responsible for overseeing contractors, ensuring that works are being delivered on time, within budget and to the highest possible quality
Managing any complaints or queries from residents and resolving problems in a timely manner
Produce regular reports on supplier performance, ensuring that contractors are compliant and follow CDM and health and safety regulations at all times
Carry out snagging and ensure that any problems are rectified early on and reported
