Your responsibilities

The Stores Person will be responsible for receiving goods and equipment as required to ensure:

  • Production receives workable work.
  • Kits are available per the production plan.
  • Inventory is controlled.
  • Factory footprint of Inventory holding areas are minimised
  • Your qualifications
  • Role
  • Unload goods from goods inwards transport
  • Book in and manage all incoming goods onto ERP system and appropriate stock/kitting locations.
  • Visual Inspection of goods inwards parts/packaging/quantities and notifying relevant staff.
  • Control stock levels of inventory parts.
  • Control stock locations.
  • Kitting to Production Orders and line items on the orderbook updating ERP status
  • Work closely with the despatch manger and purchasing to ensure shortages are known and managed.
  • Attend the Daily Operations meeting and lease with purchasing and other departments to ensure OTD and workable work.
  • Maintaining accuracy of Inventory levels thorough weekly cycle counting and annual stocktakes
  • Packing of parts and assemblies for despatch.
  • Load goods onto goods out transport
  • Continual improvement of Stores areas, control and visualisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Quarantine areas in conjunction with inspection.
  • Stores.
  • Kit marshalling areas.

Current Goals - KPI's:

  • Cycle count accuracy 95%
  • Complete Kits available on time target 90%
