M&E Design Manager

£90,000 + Pension + Healthcare + Bonus

This company is a global Data Centre specialist that provides services to support the Data Centre lifecycle for end users and operators.

They provide technical due diligence as part of their consultancy services and focus on delivering business continuityfor clients across the world.

Key Responsibilities:

Produce audits, designs and strategic planning for Data Centres, telecoms and other critical spaces, managing and coordinating the wider design team as required.
Produce and/or manage the production of specifications for Data Centre and Critical Environment projects from RIBA 14 Design Stages.
Lead strategic design direction & decisions and undertake reviews of design drawings and specifications providing feedback and comment as applicable.

Background Required:

Experience with Data Centre Installations.
Strong technical experience in leading Data Centre engineering projects.
Understanding of all Data Centre technologies including; Critical LV Switchgear Arrangements, UPS Systems, Standby Generation, Critical Cooling Systems Inc. Chilled Water, Fire Suppression, Control and Monitoring systems.
Experience of working with CAD, 3D, BIM software.
