Description

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Data Entry Assistant to work in our fast-paced medical laboratories in South Essex.

This role will be based between three sites of which two are in Basildon and one in Southend. This role will be a full shift rotation including nights.

This essential role ensures our patients' samples are efficiently and accurately booked in using our in-house laboratory IT system. This enables tests to be processed and results issued in appropriate timeframes. The role involves working with blood and other human samples. The role also involves communicating with our patients, hospital staff and departments, as well as other administrative duties.

We work on a roster system, including nights and weekends.

This role covers 2-3 night shifts and early and later shifts ( currently , , and each week.

Full comprehensive training and support is given.


Essential skills and Experience:

  • 4 GCSE's at Grade A-C or equivalent, including Math and English
  • High standard of typing proficiency
  • High standard of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Previous data entry experience
  • Customer service focused experience
