Job Title:
CNC Miller Setter Operator


Location:
Bristol


Pay Range/details:
£35490 to £38000 (inclusive of shift allowance)


Working hours:

This role is Shift based, alternating each week**:
Shift Pattern 1 Mon-Thurs 6am-2pm Friday 6am-11am
Shift Pattern 2 Mon-Thurs 2pm-10pm Friday 11am-4pm

An exciting opportunity has arisen with my client. They are a successful Engineering company that are offering a stable carrier in their precision machine shop. They require a CNC Miller - setter/operator, to set and operate CNC Milling centres with Fanucor Heidenhain control system.

**Qualifications & Requirements -CNC Miller Setter Operator

  • Ability to selfmanage, work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • Understanding of Renishaw Tool Calibration and Spindle Probes
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Take Personal Pride in their work, ensuring high standards
  • Be proactive for the continual improvement of processes.
  • Deburring of Components
  • Ensure safe working practices wherever applicable.
  • Maintain clear/safe working areas and walkways.
  • Must be a team player and be willing to adhere to company procedures
**Requirements

  • CNC Miller Setter Operator
  • Setting of 3,4,5 axis CNC milling centres to achieve first of approvals
  • Experience of visual inspection
  • Experience of Fanuc or Heidenhain control system.
