By providing helpful information, advice and guidance to individuals, managers & employers this post will play a key role in helping people with disabilities in finding, securing and keeping employment within NHS organisations in the South West London (SWL) sector.

Purpose of the Post

Provide empathy and validation,
Offer signposting information
Provide tailored advice and guidance to enquirer. Where appropriate offer a call back with a key person (recruiting manager, HR, EDI,) in line with callback criteria.
Provide day to day support and assistance to staff and managers
Provide confidential advice to colleagues with a disability or long

- term medical condition

Adopt a 'business as usual' approach to managing disability and longterm conditions.
Identify and remove barriers in all areas of employment such as recruitment, workplace adjustments and staff development
Understand organisational performance and employee needs with respect to reasonable adjustments
Develop and maintaining a barrierfree employment experience for existing and future staff who identify as having a disability

Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust provides a range of medical services to approximately 490,000 people living across southwest London and northeast Surrey.

In addition, we provide more specialist services, in particular renal and neonatal intensive care, to a wider area, covering parts of Sussex and Hampshire.
