Multi-skilled Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer

Rotherham

£39,000 + Over time + Benfits

Working Hours:

Two weeks of Early shifts: 6:00am 14:00pm
One week of Days: 7:00am 15:00pm
One week of Afternoons: 12:00pm 20:00pm

CV Technical are looking for a motivated Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a market leading manufacturer in their respective field.

Reporting directly to the engineering manager you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is keptrunning. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation.

With progressive training and development this company is always is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally beingsupported by a welcoming team of engineers.

The Role:

General Electrical Plant (site wide): including maintaining existing plan and equipment and installation of new systems to site
Involvement in Projects from concept through to design, installation and commissioning
Responding to breakdowns to maintain production cross the entire site, minimising breakdowns through regular routine maintenance
Improving current systems on site such as required spares, drawings and other technical documentation
Working with and reviewing current safety systems on site and complying with all legislation, regulations and Company rules
Any other reasonable duties as requested within skill set

Skills/Knowledge Required:

Technical knowledge and capability to handle the Electrical/Mechanical engineering activities of their plant.
Experience in HV/MV/LV electrical distribution systems, switchgear and transformers.
Experience with power distribution, emergency generators and UPS
Familiarity with instrumentation and process controllers, including practical knowledge of PLCs, Motor Control and variable speed drives
Experience with HV/MV/LV switching.
Experience, preferably in a 24/7 production environment
Working on a call basis (experience or commitment to do so)
Educated to NVQ Level 3/HNC/HND level
