Multi-skilled Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer

Rotherham

£39,000 + Over time + Benfits

Working Hours:


  • Two weeks of Early shifts: 6:00am 14:00pm
  • One week of Days: 7:00am 15:00pm
  • One week of Afternoons: 12:00pm 20:00pm


CV Technical are looking for a motivated Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a market leading manufacturer in their respective field.

Reporting directly to the engineering manager you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is keptrunning. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation.

The Role:


  • General Electrical Plant (site wide): including maintaining existing plan and equipment and installation of new systems to site
  • Involvement in Projects from concept through to design, installation and commissioning
  • Responding to breakdowns to maintain production cross the entire site, minimising breakdowns through regular routine maintenance
  • Improving current systems on site such as required spares, drawings and other technical documentation
  • Working with and reviewing current safety systems on site and complying with all legislation, regulations and Company rules
  • Any other reasonable duties as requested within skill set

Skills/Knowledge Required:


  • Technical knowledge and capability to handle the Electrical/Mechanical engineering activities of their plant.
  • Experience in HV/MV/LV electrical distribution systems, switchgear and transformers.
  • Experience with power distribution, emergency generators and UPS
  • Familiarity with instrumentation and process controllers, including practical knowledge of PLCs, Motor Control and variable speed drives
  • Experience with HV/MV/LV switching.
  • Experience, preferably in a 24/7 production environment
  • Working on a call basis (experience or commitment to do so)
  • Educated to NVQ Level 3/HNC/HND level
