Attention all aspiring Secondary Teaching Assistants An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a thriving school in St. Helens.

We are seeking a dynamic, motivated and dedicated individual to join our 11-16 client secondary school as a Secondary Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis, starting after the February half-term.

This role is perfect for someone who is passionate abouteducation and wants to make a real difference to the lives of young people.

As a Secondary Teaching Assistant, you will:

Be working alongside teachers to support students in the classroom
Help students to reach their full potential.
Provide 1:1 support to students, assisting with lesson preparation and delivering interventions.
Be expected to support the teacher in maintaining discipline and creating a positive learning environment.

To join us and be considered this Secondary Teaching Assistant position you must:

Have a minimum of 6 months experience working with children and young people
Ideally worked with secondary aged students
Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service, or be prepared to undertake a new disclosure
Have the legal right to work in UK
Be able to provide a minimum of 2 references
