Description
We are looking to recruit an Admin Hub lead Lead to become part of our Welfare Team. This position will be based at Rochford Hospital. You will be expected to travel around other sites within our locality.

The welfare team has offices in Rochford Hospital, Basildon Mental Health Unit, Brockfield House and The Linden Centre, Broomfield Hospital.

This position is a Part time Job Share 22.5 hours per week (0.60 WTE) Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

The post holder will have excellent communication, leadership and organisation skills, be proactive with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.


The welfare team are involved in frontline tasks, including telephone enquiries, cash handling and reconciling accounts, face to face with patients and clinical staff, travelling to different trust sites, assisting the team where needed.

There are other general administrative tasks involved to support the clinical staff.

Part of your Job role will include recruitment, attendance and performance monitoring, 1:1 supports and appraisals.

What is Staff Bank?


Our EPUT NHS staff bank is an entity managed by the trust that hires clinical and non-clinical healthcare professionals to take on shifts at our trust hospitals and community settings.

Here at EPUT we maintain our own bank of specialist staff to ensure that we are able offer safe and effective care at all times.


All our permanent staff are automatically enrolled onto the staff bank however this does not mean you have to work any additional shifts, but the option is there for you if you wish.

If you are joining our Trust in a fixed term role, please indicate on your New Starter Paperwork that you wish to join our staff bank


To be responsible for the day to day management and supervision of the administration officers including authorising, sickness / annual / study leave, completion of positive returns and undertaking supervision and appraisals.


You will be required to handle incoming and outgoing telephone calls to the multi-disciplinary clinical staff and managers in a polite and efficient manner.


The welfare team are involved in frontline tasks, including telephone enquiries, cash handling and reconciling accounts, face to face with patients and clinical staff, travelling to different trust sites, assisting the team where needed.

You will be required to support staff in completing these tasks. There are other general administrative tasks involved to support the clinical staff.
