Grafton Banks Finance is working exclusively with a global manufacturing and distribution group to hire a Head of Finance for their UK business.

This group has demonstrated impressive growth organically over the past two years and has ambitious plans to continue this trend.

Reporting to the UK MD with a dotted line into the Regional FD this role will lead the finance function for the UK.

You will act as a Finance Business Partner to the executive leadership and manage a team to deliver all planning, reporting, and accounting.

We are looking for a qualified accountant with PQE in Financial Controller level roles, with strong finance business partnering and team management skills.

Experience in manufacturing, distribution or similar industries would be a distinct advantage as would experience in international or matrix organisations.

Key responsibilities:

Define the country financial strategy, manage financial capital, and communicate capital requirements and implications of business decisions.
Analyse and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicating monthly and annual financial statements.
Responsible for internal and external financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with legal reporting, accounting, and tax requirements as well as corporate reporting standards (IFRS)
Coordinate and lead the annual audit process.
Oversee and lead annual budgeting and planning process.
Manage organizational cash flow, forecasting and assets.
Lead projects to implements new finance systems.

It would be an advantage to have experience reporting under IFRS and using SAP; although not essential.

Salary for this role is £90, , % bonus. Our client offers hybrid working with 2-3 days expected in their Crawley offices.
