We are looking for a Sessional Counselling Co-ordinator to support the work of our busy counselling team by helping to maintain a safe, professional and accessible counselling service for survivors of sexual violence.
It is a varied role that covers a range of support duties and it is essential that the post holder has excellent administration, interpersonal and organisational skills plus experience of working with people who have experienced trauma or who have multiple support needs.
Main purpose of the role
- Support the Counselling Service Manager to coordinate a safe, professional and accessible counselling service for survivors of sexual violence.
- Assist the Counselling Service Manager to support a team of sessional counsellors.
- Maintain procedural and practice guidelines for the counselling service in accordance with CRCC policies, quality standards and strategic objectives.
- Maintain service user referral and assessment procedures and ensure personal records are maintained for all service users.
- Support the counsellors to maintain records for all service users, to ensure the effective monitoring and evaluation of service provision.
- Please note: It is an occupational requirement that all post holders are women, in line with the Equality Act 2010, schedule 9, part 1 and paragraph 1._
- Sessional staff are engaged on a selfemployed basis and responsible for own tax and NI payments (if over the earnings threshold). _
Job Types:

£13.00 per hour
