We are currently looking for stewards to join our matchday Safety Team.As a steward you will ensure the safety and well-being of all our supporters and providing excellent customer service. You must be reliable, enjoy speaking to people and have a happy to help attitude.
Roles and responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the fans at all times
- Assisting and answering queries from spectators
- Checking tickets and locating seats
- Directing spectators and aspects of crowd control
- Operating scanners and turnstiles
- Being familiar with and upholding ground regulations
- Fully conversant with procedures in event of evacuations and remaining calm
- Ability to recognise problems and to resolve where necessary
- Keeping exit routes clear
- Being vigilant and proactive at all times
- Following instructions from your supervisor and working within your team
Full training is given to NVQ level 2 to ensure that you will be able to carry out your duties, whilst delivering a high level of service.
Matchday Stewards are required to work weekends and evenings as the fixtures require.
