About Our Client:


This manufacturing and production company are looking for an Immediate start temporary accounts payable assistant to join their friendly team based just outside of Ely.


  • Process payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data
  • Reconcile the accounts payable ledger
  • Assisting with month end reporting
  • Reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements
  • Generate reports detailing accounts status
  • Understand expense accounts, cost centres and compliance issues around accounts payable processes

The Successful Applicant:


  • Accounts Payable (Purchase Ledger) experience
  • Good financial knowledge and studying/desire to study towards a qualification (AAT/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail & good understanding of Excel
