Description
Job Introduction

It's an exciting time to join us at Notting Hill Genesis as we shape our future as one of London's leading housing associations.

Our Care and Support team manages over 5,000 homes for people who need them most. We ensure support needs are met so that people have the safe and stable accommodation they deserve.

Our residents span all walks of life, including older people, people living with learning disabilities or mental ill-health, as well as those experiencing homelessness.

We do this directly through sheltered and supported housing as well as in partnership with specialist third-party support providers.

While most of our lets are assured social rent, this role will have a particular focus on our older people's leasehold service offer.

This is a key role, reporting to our Quality, Development, and Performance Lead, in which you will plan and deliver service improvement projects and research and maintain our policies and procedures (inclusive of consultation with our leaseholders).

Role Responsibilities

Working independently or in support of the Quality, Development, and Performance Lead and with colleagues, stakeholders, and external suppliers, you will plan and deliver a diverse set of simultaneous projects for C&S.

This will include being the 'go-to person' for leasehold-specific policy and procedure, including and especially Section 20 consultations.

Further, and with a natural desire to learn and share your knowledge, you will conduct research to apprise colleagues of significant happenings within the supported housing sector and to help us maintain and publicise our policies and procedures.

Among other things, you will be responsible for project support across the department, reporting on programme management, and providing specialist support to our older people's leasehold team in particular.

Additionally, you will be called upon to deliver training and facilitate workshops with resident-facing colleagues to ensure they remain attuned to best practise and abreast of internal system change (including leading and co-ordinating super-user groups for our internal case management system, Workwise).

For this role you'll have experience of project administration, be proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel and be able to pick up new systems and processes with ease.

Given the responsibilities of the role, you will also need to demonstrate good written English and mathematic abilities.

About The Company
Notting Hill Genesis is now one of the largest housing associations in London and the south east. We own and manage more than 66,000 homes and employ around 2,000 staff.

We provide homes across a range of tenures and are committed to continuing to deliver housing that is affordable to all.

Our roots reach back to the 1960s when our legacy organisations were established by local people who shared a similar vision - to house west London's working poor, providing them a home from which to build themselves and their families a secure future.

Our people
We value our people and both respect and celebrate their differences.

We're proud to say that our colleagues come from different backgrounds, with varied outlooks and are from all over the world.

We encourage and are committed to diversity.

We know that when people with varied experiences and unique points of view come together, it makes us a stronger organisation and more able to help the wide range of residents that we serve.

We want all our colleagues to bring their full selves to work in a culture and environment based on respect and fairness, regardless of role, background or ability.

Our pledges

We are proud signatories of the G15 group's diversity pledge to encourage more diversity in the boardroom and at senior level.

The pledge on Black, Asian and minority ethnic diversity commits NHG to reflect the ethnic diversity of the communities we work in at all levels and particularly at senior managerial, leadership and board levels.

We are also a Stonewall Diversity Champion, a Disability Confident employer and have signed up to Harry's Pledge. We actively monitor the diversity
