Description
We're looking for an Operations Specialist to join our growing team at Farewill.

We're the fastest-growing company in the UK end-of-life sector, now looking to revolutionise the funeral industry.

We're looking for two Operations Specialists to join us across our growing Wills and Funerals products at Farewill. These will be fixed term contract roles until the end of March minimum.

We'll be hiring people capable of covering both our teams and you will most likely be covering both wills and funerals during the course of the coming months.

These roles are a unique opportunity to support families at the most difficult time and really make a difference to how they remember this important moment in their lives.

A flavour of what you'll be doing:

  • Diligently checking wills against our guidelines (which you'll be trained on)
  • Gaining an intimate knowledge of the wills and funerals products, relevant law and our policies
  • Supporting people through the will writing process and/or through the funerals journey
  • Work with our partners to facilitate funeral arrangements and provide timely updates to our customers
  • Being the voice of the customer internally championing what is important to our customers
  • Being part of our positive work environment and working with a bunch of genuinely lovely people

Requirements - hopefully you'll have some or all of the following:

  • Exceptional attention to detail. Ensuring that nothing falls through the cracks is critical to taking care of our customers
  • The ability to quickly master internal tools
  • Changing ways of working quickly and regularly won't faze you. A sense of ownership of problems that arise would be nice
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Specifically a great phone manner, able to comfort and deal with grieving families calmly, kindly and sensitively, but also practically

Work Schedule:

  • Hours: 45 hours a week

  • Working Days: Monday

  • Friday
  • Start/
Finish Time: 09:00 - 18:00 (1 hour lunch break)

  • Remote working is available, attending the office is necessary only occasionally

What we offer in return:

- £25,000 per annum salary

  • 28 days of annual leave plus the usual public holidays, pro rated
  • All the tools needed to do your job, including MacBook etc.
  • Regular 'passion talks' and a range of team socials
  • A chance to make a meaningful contribution to people's lives and deaths
  • And much more

At Farewill, our mission is to change the way the world deals with death - to make it simple, personal, fairly priced & accessible to everyone.

To do that, we want to build a workplace that's great for everyone, that celebrates diversity in all its forms, and where everyone who works for us feels like they can be themselves, bring their whole selves to work, and be treated fairly, equitably and respectfully.

If you need any flexibility or adjustments in our interview process - to help set you up for success - then please let us know too.
