Allstaff manufacturing Division have a brilliant opportunity for a permanent Injection Moulding Setter to join a well established business, based in Coatbridge.

This position is based on
DAYSHIFT/BACKSHIFT rotation.


Shift Pattern-

Dayshift -Mon-Thu 8am-430pm,Fri 8am-330pm

Backshift-Mon-Thu 12pm-2200pm

Duties Include:


  • Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety matters
  • Ensure all procedures are followed correctly
  • Ensure all moulds are set as per daily production sheet
  • Assist In maintaining cavitation and achieving best optimised cycle time as per production sheet
  • Assist in carrying out tooling trials with documentation of all relevant points
  • To undertake any associated training with implementation once learned
  • Maintain acceptable performance levels
  • To assist tooling co-ordinator in identification and assessment of moulds in his absence
  • To highlight any possible improvements and assist in the implementation of such
  • To approach all tasks with a Right First-Time mentality - identifying root cause issues
  • To assist Maintenance department on issues concerning moulds / machines / equipment or materials.
  • Be an experienced Injection Moulding Setter or Technician
  • Be able to carry out condition setting, and have knowledge of various materials
  • Have experience of troubleshooting moulding issues
  • Have a strong interest in lean manufacturing / process improvement and want to help take the business forward.
  • B.P.T.A / G & A / City & Guilds / College experience

Allstaff is operating as an Employment Agency for the supply of Permanent and Contract staff employed directly by the hirer.


Salary:
£15.50-£16.50 per hour
