Job Description:

We have a new opportunity for an individual looking to develop their career in Healthcare Estate Advisory.


We are looking for a Senior Consultant who has ideally undertaken work delivering health and social care construction projects or worked within healthcare related service improvement projects.

Your role will be to support clients when making real estate investment decisions and delivering strategic estates transformation projects.


We work with health and social care clients nationally to help NHS organisations to align their estate to future, system, clinical requirements that embrace service transformation, digital technologies and to enable more care at home or in the community.


The successful applicant will ideally have knowledge/interest of planning, developing and delivering projects, preferably with experience within the healthcare sector.

In addition, you will have supported the development of, or authored business cases and have an understanding of the business case development stages from Project Initiation to completion.


You will be supported by our wider team to develop and deliver strategic estates transformation commissions to health sector clients.


Qualifications:


Qualifications and Professional Registration

Essential
Relevant Industry qualification - Surveying, Engineering, Financial or Accounting

Project or Programme Management experience

Business Case writing skills or equivalent relevant experience

Evidence of continuing professional development

Previous experience of working collaboratively and managing change across multi-disciplinary teams

Project Management planning and organisational skills, including the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Knowledge of the HM Treasury 5 case model and experience of supporting business case development


Desirable

Relevant professional qualification:
Bachelors Degree

Better Business Case Accreditation

Project Management Qualification e.g. Prince 2 or MSP or Equivalent relevant experience

Experience of Strategic Infrastructure programmes in large/complex organisations

Experience of working as a project manager level in health or social care services

Ability to lead and develop Business Case


Skills & Ability

Essential
Excellent interpersonal, persuasion and influencing skills

Able to work flexibly and adapt to suit the changing requirements of the project

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral and including presentation skills.


Desirable
Demonstrate initiative and resilience to deal with challenges and resistance.
