Are you a caring and creative person who is passionate about making a real difference to someone's life? Veritas Education are currently looking for a Senior Support Worker to provide 24/7 specialist residential support for individuals with speical needs.

At our client, much effort, thought and hard work goes into doing something that is really very simple. That is enabling people to have the most fulfilling lives possible; supported with respect, caring attitudes and understanding. This includes enablingthem to enjoy activities such as swimming, cycling, carriage riding, yoga and much more.

We are looking for fun, enthusiastic Senior Support Workers who genuinely want to make a difference, to work with us in providing meaningful care and support for our serviceusers.

Required to have Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social care or other Care qualifications

Responsibilities and requirements include:

Help with their activities of daily living, e.g. getting up in the morning, going to bed at nights, dressing, undressing, washing, bathing and toilet arrangements
Professionalism, positive attitude, and patience.
Providing emotional support to individuals and their families.
Help make a person physically comfortable by, eg, making and changing beds, tidying rooms, doing light cleaning, laundry and emptying commodes where used
Understanding their communication needs and adapting your communication to each individual, e.g. sounds, tones, body language.

Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained

You must have legal right to work in the UK

You must be willing to attend a registration interviewYou don't need to have previous experience in this field, nor do you need qualifications - we're happy to work with you to help you become an excellent care worker
