We also operate a large fleet of goods-carrying vehicles to ensure the collection of materials and the delivery of our products is efficient and cost effective.

The fleet is supported by a highly experienced team of drivers, planners and transport managers with vehicles covering the entire UK and Northern Europe.

Due to continued growth, we are now looking for an
Apprentice
Media Assistant to join the team.

About the apprenticeship
This apprenticeship programme is designed to develop you over 2 years to become a successful Media Assistant. You will obtain a nationally recognised apprenticeship as a
Level 3 Digital Marketer.

During your apprenticeship you will support the Media Team, in an efficient and confidential way, and will learn to:

design, write and produce social media content across all A.W. Jenkinson companies' platforms, in line with our brand and ethos;

- assist with the production of digital content for our website;
- assist with the creation and design of advertising and promotional materials and campaigns.

What you need to succeed

You will have a minimum of 4 GCSE qualifications at standard grade C/grade 5 or above, including Maths, and English Language.

You will also need to be competent in using Social Media and standard Microsoft Packages, as well being creative with design or artwork skills.

Knowledge of Adobe packages would be an advantage.

You will be a driven, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual with a positive and can-do attitude, happy to work as part of a team and willing to learn and develop.

Key to success for this apprenticeship is to have the ability to balance time between studies and work to ensure success in both.

The position is full time but can be flexible. There will be some working from home if preferred with office time spent in Penrith.
