Internal Salesperson
Due to expansion, we are looking for a Technical Sales Person to join the team at Swagelok Teesside.


Working within the Internal Sales Team, you will be the point of contact for all technical enquiries for both internal and external stakeholders.


Responsible for the maintenance and development of an account portfolio with the aim of increasing revenue growth and where appropriate promoting event activity with a view to graduating accounts to the Market Manager.

Training will be provided for this role however, a mechanical aptitude is essential. This is a great opportunity for a driven individual to join a Company that values professional development.

Working hours at 8:30am - 5pm Monday to Friday and is located in the STEM College, Middlesbrough.


Key Responsibilities

  • Management of account portfolio (Plan, prioritise and execute sales activities towards agreed goals in line with company sales targets and objectives.
  • Point of contact for all technical enquiries from external and internal stakeholders ensuring all technical queries are managed from inception to close out or escalate to the Market Manager
  • Plan and manage the account portfolio in line with company strategic plans regarding focused products, solutions and market initiatives.
  • Maintain and develop existing customers, guided by our Company values, and where applicable onboard new accounts, through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods to optimise quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Plan account coverage in the most effective and economical manner and report on these activities using all available tools and systems to ensure currency and accuracy of information.
  • Provide interactive marketing and competitive information to members of the business development team.
  • To liaise with company and customer departments with a view to creating appropriate and professional relationships and promoting excellence in communications.
  • To undertake personal development with a professionalism and enthusiasm in line with Company values
  • Participate in and actively pursue other activities as and when directed.

Salary:
From £31,500.00 per year
