Community Fundraiser
We have an opportunity for a motivated, creative Community Fundraiser to join our well-respected and much loved local hospice charity at The Wisdom Hospice.
Working Hours - 37 hours per week
Salary - £25,000pa
This is an exciting time for The Friends who have expanded their operations over the past few years. The Friends generate income to support the running costs of the Wisdom Hospice paid via monthly grants.

About the Hospice
The Wisdom Hospice is the only adult hospice supporting the communities of Medway and Swale.
Care is provided at the hospice's 15 bed inpatient unit in Rochester, the hospice's community team also supports up to 400 patients each day within their own homes.
Patients and their families are also cared for by the hospice's welfare, bereavement and counselling teams.Could you be our new team member?
You will be a positive team player who will be an asset to our successful small multitasking fundraising team.
You will need to be a proactive, keen to get out and about in the local community to build strong, lasting relationships and to generate income for the charity.
Our team are responsible for establishing and developing a range of fundraising events as well as managing a network of fundraisers and volunteers, building relationships with local organisations, schools and community groups in order to identify fundraising opportunities within our area.
You will be a confident public speaker and an effective networker with an ability to motivate and influence a diverse range of people.
The role will require you to have a good local knowledge and to travel throughout Medway & Swale, so you must hold a full licence and have your own transport.
