Spinwell is recruiting for a Technical Lead for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE TECHNICAL LEAD

An experienced full-stack developer with solid commercial AWS development experience is required to accelerate client's move from legacy on-prem document management and archiving solutions to new cloud-native solutions.

The focus of the work will be the collaborative development of new serverless micro-services using AWS Lambda functions and Typescript/JavaScript.

However, the development team owns the existing document management systems and support of these will also be required.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE TECHNICAL LEAD
Significant commercial experience of the following technology

AWS including:CDK/CloudFormation

IAM
Lambda
CodePipeline
S3 (access monitoring)
API Gateway
CloudWatch/X-ray alerting & monitoring integration
Aurora Serverless

Java 11+
Spring
Python
TypeScript
Modern JavaScript UI frameworks, including React/Angular
Testing frameworks, including Cypress/React testing library
HTML/CSS
ElasticSearch/OpenSearch
PostgresSignificant and demonstrable experience in the following areas:
Making excellent quality software with other people.
Working with business stakeholders, to understand the context, and to focus on delivering value.
Design and implementation of solutions using a servicebased and serverless architecture.
Excellent collaboration, communication, and teamwork skills
Working in the Agile delivery models such as Scrum and/or Kanban frameworks.
Experience implementing authentication services via Cognito and
IAM with a focus on least privilege access.
