The role of Teaching Assistant plays a vital role in supporting teachers and enhancing the learning experience for students.

It's also a career that can be part time or full time, with lots of opportunity for progression and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist classroom teachers in planning and delivering lessons.
Provide oneonone or small group support to students who require additional assistance.
Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Assist with classroom management and behaviour support.
Prepare and organise teaching materials and resources.
Supervise students during break times and other nonacademic activities.
Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure the overall wellbeing and development of students.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Person specification:

Prior experience working with children or in an educational setting is helpful but not essential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Willingness to adapt and learn new teaching methods and strategies.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

Job Types:

Salary:
£350.00-£450.00 per week
