The role of Teaching Assistant plays a vital role in supporting teachers and enhancing the learning experience for students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist classroom teachers in planning and delivering lessons.
  • Provide oneonone or small group support to students who require additional assistance.
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist with classroom management and behaviour support.
  • Prepare and organise teaching materials and resources.
  • Supervise students during break times and other nonacademic activities.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure the overall wellbeing and development of students.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Person specification:

  • Prior experience working with children or in an educational setting is helpful but not essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Willingness to adapt and learn new teaching methods and strategies.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

Salary:
£350.00-£450.00 per week
