Description

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations
Read and interpret, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
Select and install cutting tools, fixtures, and machine accessories according to specifications
Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make necessary adjustments as needed
Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, using precision measuring instruments
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC machines or programs as they arise
Maintain a clean and organized work area

Skills:

Mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining principles
Proficiency in CAD software for programming CNC machines
Familiarity with a variety of hand tools and power tools used in machining processes
Ability to assemble and disassemble machine components as required
Basic math skills for calculations and measurements
Experience with tooling design and selection
Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar software for creating 3D models and drawings (not essential)
