We are expanding and looking for a tiling technician to carry out a large range of wall and floor tiling jobs, including remedial work in customers houses.

We work on sites across the South West and South Wales. Our clients include large national house builders, commercial building contractors and SME regional developers and house builders.

We are offering the benefits of employment including a company van, tools, holiday pay and a pension as well as job security.

A clean driving licence is essential. This position is site based so you will be required to travel to various locations across the South West.

A CSCS card and NVQ qualification would be preferable but not essential as we can offer the opportunity to gain these qualifications.


Job Description:


  • Carry out 'customer care' work which may include removing faulty work or carrying out repairs including communicating with customers and homeowners.
  • Carry out all types of wall and floor tiling to a high standard for our customers as directed by your supervisors.
  • You will be required to work under your own initiative at times, be competent with IT such as Microsoft Outlook and Word and be able to manage your time.
  • You will also need to communicate with administration staff to ensure work is charged for where possible, and record and report the work carried out each day.

General Tasks to Include:

  • Wall and Floor tiling including ripping out faulty work, preparing areas, cut tiles and position and lay on adhesive. Grout tiles when adhesive is dry. Clean off excess grout and fit trim as required.
  • Installing latexing, ditra matting and No More Ply and other associated work as required such as tanking kits and mirrors.
  • Follow drawings, specifications, and site instructions
  • Liaising with Principal Contractors Site Managers and homeowners.
  • Attending H&S training, site inductions and Toolbox talks as directed and following Risk Assessments and Method Statements provided by the company.
  • Deliver and unload to property all equipment, tiles and tools required to carry out the work.
  • Tidy up work area disposing of all waste into on site skip.
