We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Product Specialist to join our team. As a Product Specialist, you will be responsible for analysing product quality and ensuring compliance.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our quality assurance efforts and help maintain the highest standards for our products.


Main Responsibilities:

  • To manage the Inspection

Schedule:
Coordinate and manage the inspection schedule to ensure that all orders are ready for inspection. Highlight any potential delays to the buying team for timely resolutions.

  • Presenting Returns Data: Compile returns data and present it in weekly trade meetings, providing analysis and strategies to reduce return numbers effectively.
  • New Product Development Support: Work closely with the buying team to follow new product development processes, ensuring quality standards are met at every stage.
  • Quality Check of

Product Attributes:
Verify instruction manuals, packaging, and care labels to ensure they align with our brand and meet quality requirements.

  • Monitor Corrective Action Plans: Assist in monitoring corrective action plans aimed at improving product quality.
  • Collate

Product Attributes:

Collect and collate product attributes, sharing this information with the E-Commerce team to facilitate the creation of new products on the website.


  • Ensure Product Information is accurate: Support in ensuring that all product information is accurate before new products are set live on the website.
  • Test Report Management: Ensure that all legally required test reports are passed for new product development. Monitor the renewal of test reports to maintain compliance.
  • Weekly KPI Meetings: Participate in weekly KPI meetings with Operations and Customer Services to identify any current product issues and devise strategies for improvement.
  • Monitoring Spare Parts and

Packaging Stocks:
Work closely with Operations to monitor spare parts and packaging stocks, ensuring availability to meet quality standards.

  • Liaising with Operations: Collaborate with Operations to monitor any inbound quality issues and implement necessary corrective actions.

Person Specification:

  • High attention to detail
  • Proficiency in computer literacy especially in Excel
  • Analytical skills confidence in working with and extracting insights from data
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise workload
  • Quality Assurance experience preferred but not essential

Salary:
£24,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
