Description

We are looking for a Shutdown Delivery Lead to work within the Spirit organisation leading the preparation and delivery of their 2025 TAR under our CSP contract.

Accountable for the delivery of the Morecambe Hub Offshore Shutdowns, as per
Spirit Energy Processes and KPI's

Leadership of the offshore shutdown support teams, based in Aberdeen and
offshore

Maintain exemplary personal safety leadership and ensure all shutdown personnel
are performing to the correct company expectations

Lead the preparation of the shutdown through the Spirit Energy Stage Gate Assurance Process and close key actions from the reviews

Regular visits offshore to support and engage with stakeholders

Responsible and accountable for correct budget spend and cost control

Responsible for the organisation and management of external vendors

Regular communication and working relationship with Offshore Shutdown Coordinators, who have reporting line to this position

Ensure all work is prepared and executed in accordance with company processes and procedures

Ensure work orders in SAP have all the scope detail and ready for execute

Liaise closely with Materials Controller, ensuring all the right materials are procured and available for the shutdown

Lead detailed scope workshops during the preparation phase

Lead detailed plan reviews take place during the Stage Gate Process

Responsible for the coordination of offshore pre-works preparation and execution ensuring all work scopes are ready prior to shutdown start

Responsible for managing offshore progress and producing daily reports

Responsible for managing scope growth, delays, and impact to Critical Path

Lead the daily 72-hour planning and lookahead meetings with key stakeholders

In conjunction with the Shutdown Planner, liaise regarding manning levels and trade splits during turnaround, co-ordinate the mobilisation and de-mobilisation of resources as required

Responsible for all tools and equipment hire ensuring all rental equipment is backloaded in a timely manner. (cost management)

Lead the regular shutdown meetings with offshore and manage all actions

Manage offshore Risk Register, ensure it is always up to date and visible

Lead the regular offshore updates to Management Steering Committee Liaise with the PSSR Lead and support PSSR Completions process

Liaise with Job Responsible Engineers, ensuring scope readiness in line with the Shutdown Process and SAP Work Order Level

Understand and ensure compliance with appropriate technical standards and specifications are met and adhered to

Close liaison with Support Engineers and TA's to ensure all Technical Queries have been closed out and approved

Close liaison with MOC coordinator to ensure all MOC's are set to execute

Facilitate After Action Reviews, ensuring key learnings and opportunities to improve are recorded

HNC and/or 5+ year's industry experience in similar role.

Sufficient knowledge and experience of working within and supervising a multi disciplined team (including supervision)

Able to quickly adapt as per the needs of the organisation during the Shutdown

Proficient in the use of Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Proficient in SAP

Significant experience of working within and supervising teams on shutdown delivery Demonstrable experience dealing with the safe and efficient execution of work during shutdowns


Demonstrable experience of conducting thorough risk assessment, with a clear understanding of ALARP, acceptable risk and identification of suitable mitigating controls.

Experience and thorough understanding of how plant is safely re-instated using completions systems and PSSR'S (Plant Re-instatement) Examples of communicating with personnel from different disciplines and areas of the business
