Learning & Talent Management Lead

  • Responsible for the Learning & Talent Management of GWS UK which comprises of over 6,000 employees. You will partner with UK People teams to support and deliver on a range of projects as well as delivering Learning & Talent Management programs.
    Responsibilities
  • Be the L&TM lead and Business Partner for GWS UK, which will include representing L&TM at any/all relevant meetings and being their trusted advisor for all matters regarding L&TM
  • Act as the interface GWS UK and the broader L&TM team and therefore be aware of and be able to navigate and recommend from the broader L&TM agenda
  • Support the implementation of the L&TM elements of the global People roadmap in GWS UK to ensure that the L&TM offering is fit for purpose & delivered effectively
  • Be both a consultant on L&TM to the UK, but also where required the facilitator and trainer on programs specific to the UK e.g. HiPo program
  • Deliver (and design where appropriate) training as requested by relevant business stakeholders
  • Own the UK L&TM dashboard being able to account for and report back on all aspects of training in the UK
  • Respond to ad hoc requests, for example providing curated learning resources as required
  • Facilitate programs such as ILM3 and Contract Manager where needed especially for UK team
  • Ensure all aspects of the Talent Management process are delivered for the UK

Person Specification

  • Experience of delivering training sessions and facilitating workshops/meetings
  • Experience acting as a Business Partner and trusted advisor
  • Worked in a complex matrix style business, where flexibility and pragmatism are needed more than perfection
  • Leadership experience of a small team of experts
  • Gravitas and personal impact
  • Able to command the respect of the team and a range of business partners
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Commercially savvy, able to connect L&TM to the needs of the business
  • Selfmotivated and driven
  • Desirable experience of working in or with Learning & Development and/or Talent Management teams
