We have an opportunity for a Cook/ Kitchen Assistant position at our 30 bed care home.

Duties include:

Preparing and serving meals in a timely manner with consideration to allergies or dietary requirements that may be present
Stock control
Maintaining high standards of kitchen health, safety and cleanliness in regards to all relevant regulations
Ensuring all equipment is used with care and is in good working order.
Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those they support
Support the Chef to Maintain the Kitchen as well as cleaning duties required

Basic cooking skills are essential, however all other training will be given.

The position is 32 hours per week, Alternate weekends. Additional days may be required to cover holidays. £11 per hour.
