Our client is a global commodities trading company focusing on oil and refined products. They hold a strong position in their marketplace which they have achieved over a short period of time. Additionally, they have ambitions to double the size of theirbusiness by 2025, emphasising their thirst for sustainable growth.

The Role
The position is an Operational Risk Analyst on a Fixed Term Contract for 12 months.

Role Responsibilities

Assessing and identifying operational risks by developing and maintaining the operational risk frameworks
Ensure the KPI/KI dashboard are reviewed and updated as well as delivering KPI/KRI analysis and presentation
Lead incident investigations and use risk insights to drive performance
Support the delivery of business change projects

Role Requirements

A degree level or equivalent qualification
35+ years operational risk experience working in an energy trading and/or risk environment
Knowledge of energy trading desirable (oil, gas, LNG, power)
Understanding of the energy transaction lifecycle
