What you will be doing
We're recruiting for a Junior Finance Business Partner to join Dentsu in partnering with Client Leads, Service Line Management and supporting Senior Finance Business Partners to add value and insight, improve profitability and cash flow and minimise business risk.
You'll support cross-functional projects as well as in the final review of budgets and forecasts and works with the Central FP&A Team to ensure budgets and forecasts are prepared to a high standard using the available business insight.
You'll also work with the Financial Control and Operational Finance teams to ensure that revenue recognition reflects up-to-date business knowledge and client reporting is performed in accordance with our contractual obligations.
The difference you'll make- Provide support to the business to understand the strategic direction, goals and performance of the service line to ensure this is reflected in the budget and forecasts.- Work with FP&A to prepare the annual budget and quarterly re-forecasts and split the budgets/forecast by client/capability/department level, providing forecasting feedback & client action plans.- Provide analysis, insight, advice and challenge to businesses to enable them to make financial, operational and strategic decisions.
This includes utilisation analysis, participation in discussions around cost/profit centre structures, LOB mappings.- Support the Commercial Finance Senior Finance Business Partners in partnering with the Client Lead and the Commercial Lead for client pitches, negotiations and contract reviews.- Provide support to Client Accounting and Assurance teams to ensure revenue is recognised appropriately, incorporating the knowledge held within commercial finance.
What you'll bring- Part qualified or qualified by experience within a commercial finance role.- Strong data analysis, forecasting, modelling and problem-solving skills.- Experience with client negotiation, influence and commercial contract reviews.- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills across a wide range of stakeholders, exhibiting relationship-building capabilities and influencing collaborative outcomes.- Possess a drive for continuous improvement and performance excellence.
It would also be nice for you to have- Proven ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and manage and prioritise multiple, conflicting deadlines under pressure and navigate effectively amidst ambiguity and change.- Experience in using business intelligence tools is helpful.
This is a permanent role. The team is based in our London office but operates under flexible working arrangements.
The team currently work 1 or 2 days a week from our office on Triton Street, further days may be required depending on the business needs.
