We are on the hunt for a highly efficient Marketing & PR Executive to join our small, but perfectly formed team.


The Africa Hub a continent-wide, online training resource, delivered by 'on-the-ground' experts who know their countries best. The Africa Hub aims to help further the skills and confidence of agents selling this exciting but complex continent. Launched in February 2021, The Africa Hub has generated a following of 3000 travel agents from 78 countries. Described by The Times journalist as the 'Go to place for Africa', The Africa Hub is looking to expand.


Our small team is growing, and we are on the hunt for a sales-driven and passionate Partnerships Executive with a meticulous eye for detail to help expand our sales.


You'll be joining a team that always has an exciting project on the go, is collaborative, friendly and produces exceptional results.


Position Background and Scope

Subscription Sales
Travel agent & tour operator subscription sales

Accommodation Hub sales - encouraging hotels to upgrade to premium listing

Event participation to generate sales & spread the word of TAH


The Accommodation Hub management

  • Managing the site maintenance for the Accommodation Hub
  • Uploading all hotel information onto the individual hotel pages
  • Working with the hotels to ensure that they have all their collateral developed - recording the training webinars, getting the destination experts testimonial, etc
  • Sourcing & nurturing brand partnerships to help build The Africa Hub brand
  • Invoicing and managing payments alongside our book keeper

Person Specification
Tourism background & experience in the industry mandatory

A highly efficient and organised person with a meticulous eye for detail

A good time manager with the ability to juggle a range activities and deadlines

A confident presenter, communicator and negotiator

Must be proficient in Excel and have confidence using a range of technologies

Must be a Mac user/own a Mac

The office is in a rural location so the successful applicant must have a car/be able to drive.
