Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing Supplier Management Source onboard suppliers for powders production-critical inputs Negotiate commercial terms maintain supplier pricing performance data Support development dual-sourcing strategies risk mitigation plans Translate production schedules MRP signals timely purchase orders Maintain accurate ERP data lead times costs inventory parameters Forecast demand collaboration planning sales functions Monitor material freight inventory costs identify efficiencies Maintain supplier risk registers ensure data accuracy systems Provide reporting dashboards support production commercial decisions Oversee inbound shipments international logistics customs compliance Supervise goods-in processes accurate receipt traceability stock control Optimise packaging documentation export aligning client regulatory requirements Lead Goods-In Inventory function Develop SOPs procurement inventory logistics operations Drive continuous improvement cross-functional alignment Engineering Quality Finance Essential Experience Skills Procurement supply chain experience manufacturing environment Background powders metals technical materials preferred ERP MRP proficiency strong data management discipline Understanding incoterms customs international logistics Experience traceability batch control quality systems Confident Excel familiarity Power BI CIPS advantageous Proactive ownership mindset Analytical commercially aware Collaborative process-focused Detail-oriented safety ethos.
