_Finance Assistant _
Brennan Atkinson International is a closeout stock trading company based in Manchester.

For nearly 50 years, we have been buying end of line stock from major manufacturers, distributors and importers predominantly in the UK and Europe.

We have been supplying different types of retailers with high quality branded end of line goods in a wide range of product categories.

Including but not limited to - Toys, Electricals, Health & Beauty, Furniture, Stationery, Home & Living. Major customers include Home Bargains and TK Maxx for example.

Brennan Atkinson is a fast moving, exciting trading environment. Stock lines are sold quickly, and new lines are added every day.

Our customer base has changed dramatically over the years now including a large number of e-commerce multi-channel retailers, many of which we have helped to grow and prosper by supplying them with products which sell quickly on the web.

We are presently looking to recruit for an assistant to join the finance team.

  • Good use of IT and quick to pick up new systems
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and organisation
  • Well presented

Tasks - finance:


  • Chasing customer invoices
  • Posting customer receipts
  • Taking customer credit card payments
  • Processing credit notes
  • Issuing proforma invoices
  • Chasing payments
  • Handling customer queries, e.g., statement / invoice requests, payment confirmations
  • Set up payments on online banking system
  • Posting supplier payments
  • Posting supplier expense invoices

Due to the close relationship between finance and operations there will be some assistance required in the following areas:

  • Administration of sales orders
  • Completion of customer line forms
  • Customer bookings and enquiries
  • Liaising with sales team, shippers
  • General administration

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£22,500.00-£25,000.00 per year
