Accounts Assistant

Leicester LE1

We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join an established and busy Semi Kraft Bakery based in Leicester.

We are seeking a friendly and knowledgeable individual who is reliable, hard working and attentive for an immediate start.

Must have good command of English, strong numerical ability and IT skills.

Job Title ; Accounts Assistant

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday -
9.30 am to 4.30pm (Monday-Friday)

The Role ;

Work with a dedicated and small team managing the company's administrative function

To manage payroll administration to meet operational requirements

Ensure the sales ledger is recorded accurately

Record purchase ledger and expenses accordingly

Raising and sending sales invoices

Inputting purchase invoices onto the internal Sage 50 system

Filing, faxing and other general administration duties

Competent in all Microsoft packages including Excel

Experienced in SAGE or similar accounts software an advantage although full training given

Professional telephone manner

Very good command of the English language, both written and spoken

Quick, Can Do attitude, Loyal and hard working

Excellent numeracy and literacy skills

Previous exposure to a similar role an advantage

Attentive with an eye for detail vital

Accounting knowledge Advantageous however, not essential
