Job description:
A Local Authority in the North West is looking for an experienced Service Manager to work within their Child Social Care department who will be responsible for managing their Integrated Front Door service and the socialwork provision


Duties:


  • Having overall responsibility for management of the Integrated Front Door service including POD Managers, EH Manager and EDT Team Manager
  • Ensuring that contacts, referrals, assessments, plans, interventions and review processes are timely, well planned, child focused and follow the appropriate statutory and local decision making frameworks
  • Providing direct line management and have supervisory responsibility for front line managers and professional staff within the Integrated Front Door service and to promote their professional development
  • Operating to meet local and national targets by managing performance and ensuring continual progress and improvement
  • Providing effective support to practitioners in respect of areas for development or improvement
  • Building and sustaining effective working partnerships across statutory services and promoting joined up, and effective responses to children and families
  • Proven experience of managing a similar service
**Daily Rate: £500 per day
