    Assistant Accountant

    We are seeking a skilled and motivated Assistant Accountant to join our team in Leeds.

    About You

    The ideal candidate will possess accounting and finance experience, a willingness to learn and develop, and be well-organized and detail-focused. You will support the dealership accountant in daily accounting tasks and be responsible for various financial duties.

    Responsibilities Include:

    • Efficiently supporting the accounts department.
    • Providing consistent customer service aligned with our standards and manufacturer requirements.
    • Logging, approving and coding purchase invoices.
    • Completing reconciliations and allocating costs and bonuses correctly.
    • Issuing accurate invoices and credits.
    • Maintaining organised records for VAT input and output.
    • Demonstrating effective communication skills.
    • Assisting the dealership accountant in their daily tasks.
